Work Experience

For the last two weeks I have been on “work experience”.

The School sends year 10 students (14-15 year old) out into the workplace to see what life after school will be like, I worked with my manager, John.

I helped John organize the paperwork for a local festival that he runs, (the Jester Festival), by sending out booking forms, allocating the spaces at the Festival and sending receipts.

But I had more fun, painting John’s shed and his garden fence green!

I also helped tile and grout my Grandad’s new shower room

We done lots of other jobs around his house and John showed me how to use power tools like electric drills and saws etc. (safely).

It was better than going to School!

Ministry of Mayhem

Tom Felton, Josh Herdman and I appeared on The Ministry of Mayhem, a kids programme on ITV. We all had a great time. We took part in a game where we placed a big cake on one end of a skateboard (mine was in the shape of a Crab) and jump on the other end, to send the cake flying up against a wall. Tom won of course, but me and Josh think it was fixed!

By the end of the show we were all covered in cake. I think the highlight of the show was when one of the presenters poured slime over Tom's head. He laughed and said "you've gone too far," picked up a big cake from the table and threw it right in her face. None of this was in the script, and the look of surprise on her face was really funny.
