I have decided to hold a little contest for the readers of my site.
We have received some really great art lately and I thought it would be nice to have a little contest.
Everyone who sends in a drawing of me or of my character, either by myself or with other fellow Slytherin students, over the next 3 weeks will be judged in an art contest.
The art will be judged by myself and two other friends. The top three drawings will receive signed photos from me and a "few friends" as a reward for their efforts.
Everyone who enters will be honored though, as you will all have your art featured in a new section that will open shortly after the contest.
You can enter by emailing a scan of you work to inniss@blueyonder.co.uk, or by sending your original work to the address on my contacts page.
You can submit you art in any format and enter as many times as you wish.
The closing date will be the 31st March.

I would draw something and send it in, but I'm afraid with my people-sketching skills (or lackthereof) everyone would either end up being stickmen, or so unrecognizable that you'd wonder if I had sent them to the wrong site.

omgggg i have been waiting for an opportunity like this! I hope to be an artist when im older, and already i have done some charcoal sketches of jamie in his slytherin robes and baseball cap. Jamie you rock my world.

Great idea, Jamie. I'm going to send a picture in, although I honestly cannot draw for beans! It's worth a try though, and I hope you give my picture of you some serious thought! Of course, it won't be a masterpiece, but if it's eye-catching hopefully (actually with all the hope in the world) you'll notice it! Good idea, I'm very excited to send my picture in!

This is a wonderful idea. However, I have two questions. First, when is the deadline and two, are we allowed to send more than one drawing?
Are there rules about what media we use? Because I'm more of a paint girl than a pencil person, if that's okay. Well, to be honest I'm not much of either :\ It's a really good idea though, although mine may have to be an abstract or something to cover up my rubbishness...

You're a genius, Jamie, lol! The idea sounds really great. You know, I would love to send in something because I draw like everyday of my life. Yeah, I've drawn some really funny HP comics. The thing is, though, I draw just silly stuff, most of which I proabably couldn't send in. Imagine Harry Potter without a children's theme. Lol, I'm just crazy here. Anyway, great idea. I wish I could draw all serious, but I'm more of a comic strip type. GTG!

This is a great idea. I just put two sketches (well, copies of sketches, I didn't want to rip them out of my sketchbook) in the mail. I hope you enjoy them. This is the first time I've let anyone see my drawings other than my friends. I'm a bit nervous, actually. Anyways, have fun looking at all the pictures!
