Today was our last day of filming until the new year (except Dan who is still filming).

We have been filming the dance scenes in the great hall for the last week or two, its been very good fun, but no more dancing for me for a while, unless I get invited to a Christmas party somewhere, if I do dance, I'm sure it wont be the Waltz.

Everybody was happy that we were finished filming for the Christmas break, many of us exchanged presents and cards with each other.

We have all become very good friends at the studio over the last four years, not only with the other actors and the crew, but with the many other people that work there, seeing the friendly faces of the canteen staff every day (hi Rose, Betty,Pauline and Debbie) makes working each day a little easier.

Its strange, we all look forward to our filming breaks, but after a few weeks away from the studio, we all wish we were back filming again!

I have finished my "mock" GCSE exams at the studio. I have no tutoring until I go back to my "normal" school in January.

Will update again before Christmas

All the best......Jamie

Hey Jamie! Glad the Great Hall scenes have been goin so well for you. If it were me doing the Waltz, I'd be stepping all over peoples feet or just fallin flat on my face, I tend to have a few blond moments now and then =D.

Well, Good luck Jamie! You seem like such a sweet person; I'm sure you will get many presents for Christmas! :-)

I am personally a big Harry Potter fan, and I can't wait for the fourth film to come out. I'm sure you've heard that loads of times. :-)

Enjoy your break, spending time with your family and friends, and Merry Christmas to you! :-)

Enjoy the time off, at least you wont be waltzing anytime soon. Should do a hidden seen where Gunit plays the ball, I am sure that would be fun.

Sorry to be posting anonymously, since I got no Blogger account. My name's Ashe, my blog's at http://ashe.eloquensa.net

I just want to say that I love your blog; it shows so clearly that you're such a nice guy who must have worked really hard to be able to pull off acting as Crabbe since you are so very kind! (You did it real well, though)

Wishing you all the best too; you deserve that and more! :D

Dear Jamie,

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year (in advanced). Hope you have nice holidays and enjoy the time away from filming. I´m sure it´s gonna be great to go back to work after that break.

Thank you very much for updating us on the filming status, even though we know you can´t tell us much about it.

J-unit (That's what you shold be called!), Merry Christmas! I hope you enjoy your holiday and get (and give!) lots of nice gifts. Filming something like GoF must be great fun but also a lot of work, so I'm sure it'll be a nice break (until the end when you are desperate to get back to the set!).

Also, have an excellent New Year and I look forwarding to hearing (reading, really) from you again.

Man, that exam sounds hard, but I'm not European so my opinion isn't fact based. Currently in the state that I live in (in the US) we have to take a test to graduate high school (don't pass, don't graduate) and SAT, PLAN, and numerous other boring exams that cause many a sleepless nights.

Anyway, I'm not exactly sure how I found your blogg, but I have to say 'Thank You' for making it. Scanning the comments I notice that many people appreciate it that you inform them of the HP world (and other stuff possibly, I have not read all of your posts)and in my perspective, anything that makes other people happy makes me happy.

Oh, and there is something I've always wanted to say to someone in the HP cast/crew/payroll; It must be cool to see a movie that your partake in develope and evolve into something that other people watch and appreciate. There must be adventure there, and you are in a way lucky to have the opportunity to explore it.

Have a Happy Chrismahanukwanzica, depending on what you celebrate.

not enough people these days know how to waltz, it seems to be a deficet in our society. You should feel knowledgable! Proud!

Heh... Yeah... Enjoy your holiday break, and may the rest of filming be as enjoyable.

Really... I asked a few people if they know how to waltz and about one out of every twelve said "yes".

You'd think I was asking them if they spoke fluent clingon, sheesh... People these days! *deep sigh*
